Acer has unveiled the Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition, a 15.6-inch gaming laptop with a 3D effect display. According to Acer, the laptop can simulate 3D content without using glasses. The Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition should be powerful enough for modern triple-A gaming thanks to its Core i9 Raptor Lake processor and high-end GeForce RTX 40 series GPU.

Acer has announced the Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLab Edition, one of several gaming laptops that the company has introduced today. Like the Triton 17 X, the Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition is an extremely powerful machine thanks to its reliance on current generation Intel and NVIDIA parts. However, it also has a trick up its sleeve, thanks to SpatialLabs technology.

Specifically, the Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLab Edition features a display that can display 3D content without requiring you to wear 3D glasses. According to Acer, the laptop features eye-tracking to improve the 3D effect, the modules for which appear to sit next to the laptop’s front-facing camera. For reference, while the 15.6-inch IPS display outputs at 4K, enabling 3D mode drops the resolution to 1,920 x 2,160 pixels.

Moreover, Acer equips the unusual gaming laptop with a Core i9-13900HX processor, a GeForce RTX 4080 GPU and up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. Acer adds that the laptop will be available with 512 GB and 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSDs too. Alternatively, Acer will offer 1 TB and 2 TB configurations running in RAID 0. Elsewhere, the Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLab Edition has two Thunderbolt 4 connections, among other ports, and a 90 Wh battery.

Currently, Acer hopes to start selling the Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition from June. At the time of publication, the company estimates that the laptop will start at €3,499. Acer has not published full availability or pricing yet, though.
